To apply, vacuum mattresses, furniture, and carpets, then lightly sprinkle DE around bed frames, under furniture, and in cracks. Leave it for 5–7 days before vacuuming and reapplying as needed.
Cloves contain eugenol, which may deter insects, but evidence against bed bugs is weak. Clove sachets in closets and clove oil sprays around entry points may help with general pest control.
