Jay-Z’s accuser claims his private investigators manipulated her words to make it seem like she retracted her rape allegations in a taped conversation.

Earlier this week, Jay-Z’s lawyers released a recording where Jane Doe appeared to walk back her claim that he sexually assaulted her. However, in new legal documents obtained by TMZ, Doe states that investigators Charlotte Henderson and James Butler showed up at her Alabama home uninvited.

She alleges she was fearful during their visit and was not “calm or at ease,” as they claimed. Doe also denies ever saying Jay-Z was not involved in her alleged rape at the 2000 VMAs.

She insists the tape was edited to misrepresent her statements, including a moment where she allegedly said her attorney, Tony Buzbee, pushed her to sue Jay-Z.

Buzbee called the recording a “fabrication” and maintains Doe never wavered in her claim that Jay-Z assaulted her. Meanwhile, Jay-Z’s lawyer, Alex Spiro, defended the tape, stating it was part of efforts to clear his client’s name.
