Bill loves traveling and is the opposite of his brother Victor, a dedicated teacher and father. For his nephews’ 8th birthday, Bill plans a surprise Disney trip, but Emma, his sister-in-law, excludes him from the birthday party, citing his lack of stability. Hurt and angry, Bill decides to take Victor, the kids, and their parents to Disney World while Emma is away on a business trip, lying to her about a “camping trip.”
The trip is magical, with the kids having the time of their lives. Emma’s reaction when she sees the photos is furious, but Bill calmly confronts her. Emma realizes her desire for control and apologizes. Bill responds with tough love, urging her to change her behavior if she wants to truly be part of the family.
