Luca Manolache, a promising 19-year-old footballer for Metaloglobus București, was forced to retire early due to severe health issues. He experienced fatigue, dizziness, chills, and blood in his stool, which led to a rapid decline in his health. During a game, Luca’s vision went black, and he collapsed, requiring immediate medical attention.
On February 28, 2024, Luca’s symptoms worsened, and he called his mother in distress, asking if he was dying. Tragically, while being transported to the hospital, Luca passed away. An autopsy revealed he drowned in his stomach acid after vomiting blood, leading to suffocation.
