Amy Schumer humorously claimed that John Cena was “actually inside her” while filming their intimate scene in Trainwreck (2015). In the movie, Schumer plays a commitment-averse woman who becomes involved with Cena’s fitness-obsessed character, Steven.
Reflecting on Cena’s physique, Schumer joked, “That butt is like a whole universe… It felt like a refrigerator was on top of me.” She added, “It was probably tougher for him; I just laid there.”
Cena acknowledged the scene’s awkwardness, saying they “delivered” on purpose. He later praised Schumer for making the set comfortable but admitted filming felt far from intimate due to the close proximity of catering and the sound tent.
Schumer responded humorously on Instagram, saying, “I’m in love with you.”
