A tragic accident occurred on Thursday in Manitoba, Canada, where at least 15 people lost their lives. A bus carrying elderly passengers collided with a truck at an intersection near Carberry, approximately 170 kilometers west of Winnipeg.
The passengers were on their way to a casino in Carberry when the collision took place. Deputy Police Officer Rob Hill, the commander of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police in Manitoba, confirmed that at least 15 individuals were pronounced dead at the scene.
In addition, ten other individuals were injured and are currently receiving medical care at the hospital. The incident has left the community in shock, and investigations are ongoing to determine the cause of the crash.
