Luca Manolache, a 19-year-old footballer for Metaloglobus București, tragically passed away after battling severe health issues.
Suffering from extreme fatigue, dizziness, and blood in his stool, his condition rapidly deteriorated, leading to a collapse on February 28. In a heartbreaking call to his mother, he asked, “Do you think I’m dying?”
Despite emergency efforts, Luca died from complications due to internal bleeding, ultimately drowning in his own stomach acid. His club paid tribute, remembering his passion and dedication to the sport.
Though gone too soon, Luca’s legacy as a talented and beloved teammate will endure. Rest in peace, Luca—you will never be forgotten.
